MEN'S MINISTRY

Vision Statement

The men’s ministry of AFUMC desires to be one that: disciples, encourages, engages, challenges, and commissions men to go and serve.

“As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.” (PROVERBS 27:17)

Men who are discipled will disciple their families.

Men who are encouraged will better lead and better love their families.

Men who are engaged in ministry will demonstrate commitment and consistency.

Men who are challenged will grow spiritually.

Men who are commissioned to go and serve will set an example for those coming after them.

We desire to meet men where they are and to minister to them regardless of their background, tradition, culture, education, or socioeconomic status.

Through the men’s ministry, participants can find discipleship and fellowship with like-minded believers.

Men Connecting to Jesus and One Another (Man Challenge).

Every man needs two things: encouragement and accountability.

We have developed Man Challenge as an environment where all men are invited to come and get connected with other men.  Man Challenge is specifically designed to help men grow in their faith TOGETHER.

Thursday Mornings led by Rev. Jerry Page (7:00 a.m.)

Thursday Night led by Chris Reinbold (7:00 p.m.)

Offerings

Some of the avenues for men to be involved in at AFUMC include recreational activities, Pastor’s Prayer Partners, care ministry, service projects, fellowship opportunities, and 1:1 mentoring.

We want every man that walks through the front doors of AFUMC to be easily connected to God and community with fellow followers of Christ.

The Men’s Ministry desires that all men at AFUMC find places to connect with other men and to grow in the Lord.
